Tattoos don't bother me in the least. My boyfriend has multiple and I am friends with many people with them.
You are not automatically a bad or scary person because you have tattoos. I don't understand why people are so put off or outright scared of someone JUST because they have a tattoo or multiple tattoos. Unless they have notorious gang symbols or something, they aren't automatically untrustworthy or thugs.
There are a lot of REALLY awesome and beautiful tattoos out there. I have complimented people on theirs before. It always brings a smile to their face and you can tell it makes them feel good to be recognized positively. Who doesn't like a compliment, right?
A lot of tattoos have sentimental or personal meaning as well. If that is how someone chooses to honor a moment in their life or pay tribute to someone that has passed away, that is totally their choice and there is no issue with it.
As long as a tattoo is done properly and professionally and is properly cared for, there's really no "harm".
I understand from some people's perspective your body is your temple and you should never, ever deface it by getting tattoos, piercings, etc. While I respect that point of view, you have to also realize that your temple is yours but someone else's temple is theirs. If you choose to have a blank canvas, that's absolutely fine. But if someone else chooses to decorate their temple, that's ok too.
I go by never judge a book by its cover. I am not going to be automatically put off by anyone with body modifications. People forget that there are PLENTY of terrible people without any tattoos or piercings whatsoever.
There's really no sense in being rude or judging someone just because they have tattoos. Most people would be surprised to learn just how kind and fun some of the people with tattoos are if they'd just give them a fair chance and treat them like the normal human being that they are.

I've had a heavily religious (still unsure which religion - middle east I would guess) man with a thick accent come up to me and say in a really deep voice "I love your ink." It made me blink because it was so unexpected. I had to ask him to repeat himself. But he lit up to my smile of thanks and that changed his appearance completely. He looked a bit standoffish before that. It was one of my favs. I've had a fair few though.
People will come in very close and stare at details (mine are realism) I'll tease "Hey, my eyes are up here."
We each walk our own path in this life. Get tattoos, don't get them. Entirely up to you.

Yes I am definitely guilty of judging people with tattoos. I really try not to, but it's hard. Not that I think tattoos make someone bad, I just think the act of getting a tattoo is a really dumb one. I try not to think that way though, especially if the tattoo isn't fresh sense for all I know that person could have gotten it 20 years ago or something.

No, I usually feel intimidated or attracted to them initially. The world may have a higher percentage of negative prejudgement/biases on tatted peeps, but personally I find most tatted people Iāve gotten the chance to get to know have been some of the best people who has such passionate, creative & introspective mindset, or good souls.

I judge the quality of tattoos and placements like when people have portraits facing the wrong way or tattoos upsidedown so it faces them. Other than that idrc. Tattoos are cool. I love mine and yeah I've been judged for them because majority of them have no significant meaning, but it's art and art is cool.

So my mom instilled this in me from a young age, and I believed it, but as I got older I realized everyone gets tattoos now. Some of them are excessive ugly and do look gang related, but some are cool, and I consider them a good conversation starter.
Tattoos are just far too mainstream and now incredibly boring , there was a time they meant something , now they don't , just a stack of tattooed monkeys , it means nothing , other than you are prepared to scar yourself for no reason.
