1 yI'm unsure if I'm the best person to answer this question, but I shall give my best go at it.
I don't believe true maturity is based on age. For instance, I'm the youngest girl (second youngest person) in my entire grade, but a lot of people believe I'm more mature than everyone else in it except for about 3 other people. (My grade has about 107 students.) I have also been at Disney World and have seen what immaturity looks like in adults. I have been in lines waiting to get character autographs, (I was 4) and this group of adult women shove me aside and hop in line in front of me. Instead of letting a child do child things, these women had to be first, showing childish immaturity that I should've been doing at that time. I'm not saying that I'm the only one like this or that I'm the most mature human in the world. I'm not. I know that there are probably a lot of people like me who are the same way.
So no, I do not believe maturity is based on age. I believe it is based partially on how your brain views your environment, partially on the environment your brain was raised in, and partially on when you decide to grow up and act like an adult.

Asker1 yMaybe a part of it, although I do believe maturity can be a personality thing as well, you do seem more mature than your age, what made you that way will probably always remain a mystery.

Oh, that's a good point as well. Thank you, lol.

m 1 yNot really, while more time gives more opportunities to reach a well-balanced enough state of mind, I think it's far from being sufficient. Because time talks about branches, what about the roots though? And what about ecosystem, internal and external?

Na, I don’t think so. For some maybe but I think it’s based on what experiences you’ve been through and seen that’ll force you to act differently than when it’s expected

1 yBased on life experiences and responsibility. So men at 12yrs of age slept with women in their 20-40s which shows they carried something special that these women wanted.
00 Reply1.9K opinions shared on Other topic. Definitely not, I've met plenty of old people that were immature as fuck. As a matter of fact I almost beat one up in the parking lot about 30 minutes ago

1 yPartially, yes. There’s different types of maturity and what’s considered mature behavior is subjective. Generally speaking, people who are 40+ are much more experienced and knowledgeable about life than those who are under 25.
