Absolutely not. I know 12-year-old kids who are mature beyond their age and adults who have the maturity of a 5-year-old. In my opinion, maturity comes from experiences and upbringing.
Johnny is right
@moneymagnet24 lol 😂
Where is your Johnny? 😜
@moneymagnet24 He went mia.
My nickname is Johnny 🤣
No, because I have known people in their 40s who still live at home with their parents and don't work because they never grew out of their teen phase.
Is there a psychology process or even an LSD process that could get them out of that phase?
I haven't talked to him in years but I'm pretty sure he's too far gone. I remember he graduated college with a degree in computer programming and he refused to use it saying he wanted to be a butcher on a cruise ship so he could wear the chain mail vest instead. He had serious mental issues of you ask me.

No, I don't think so. Everybody expects a child to be childish, but some adults are pretty childish as well.
My sister is 47 and she often acts like 13 year old would.
I believe that maturity has to do with your behavior and your beliefs not so much with your age.
I don't think that age has anything to do with maturity. There are plenty of older people who are immature, and enough younger people who are actually interested in understanding different perspectives, to be fairly certain of that. I do have plenty of older friends who I respect and value, just like I know younger people who think they know everything and have nothing to learn. But age as an isolated metric of maturity? Not causal at all.
Not at all. But again, maturity is subjective, I have a friend who is so funny that most people think he's not mature. But when it comes to life decisions, I know how mature he is.
Also I have seen people totally mature at 15 and still childish at 40
For the most part but not always. I’ve met kids in high school who were more mature than some people in their thirties.
It's probably the worst proxy for maturity that humanity has invented. Having observed 14 to 18-year-olds for 20 plus years I can stay unequivocally that age is meaningless. I can also state unequivocally that the girls, at any of those ages, are at LEAST 18 months more mature than the guys. No it's horrible! My question is what else have we got?
It depends on how a person reacts to negative life experiences. Some people get wiser while others get jaded and worse.
Not online. In my case I'm much more my age in person, getting silliness and others out with friends, mostly online. I notice this with others too.
No because i know more mature younger than older
Not in my case. I'm 70, look about 45, and have a personality just as boyish as my good looks.
Not really. Not only that, but the perceived maturity level often depends upon the setting. In my business, clients are often shocked that I am as young as I am. Outside of there I am often called immature.
No, some people grow up. and some people just get older.
definitely not always, no... and that's never been the case either
there are childish, immature, spiteful, vain people in their 70s
I would say, it depends on the situations life puts us in more than our age.
No more reliable than the size of one's kitchen being an indicator of their culinary prowess.
It's generally a starting indicator but it's definitely not a rule
To some extent, but it is not a deciding factor.
No not always.
To an extent, but it’s certainly not always the case
Nope. I'm more immature than a 12yo.
