Oh my…I knew a woman who had a concentration camp number tattooed on the inside of her wrist. It was faded by the time I knew her, but I always felt so disconnected from reality when I saw it. And it hurt my heart then and the memory of it is making me start to cry now…as does that art statement. Bc it IS a statement. I pray we are all paying attention.

yes me too. as a history major i've seen so much through books and documentaries to give you nightmares. we really don't want this.

History has always been one of my favorite subjects. I started off as a journalism major but switched to a broader field. It seems as soon as we forget about history that it often does repeat itself. Sad!

my biggest hope here is their sheer incompetence. still destructive and evil but no clear unified vision or plan for what everyone in trumps admin want other than making him and all his buddies more rich.

My fear is there may be those in the background who are competent and are pulling the puppet strings very adeptly.

that is true. the one to really watch out for if he actually gets confirmed is Russell Vought. he's up for director of office of management and budget. he could control the funds that go into all sort of federal funding. like imagine the freeze last week that was halted? well he could do that through his office if confirmed. He's also a head architect of project 2025 and a heritage foundation goon.

yup thats bad too. not gonna lie we are entering a particularly dangerous time right now. if you wanna do something i would call senators and congress people about him.
