What's your worst "If it's not broken, don't fix it" fuck up?

The ceiling fan wouldn't stop humming. Didn't bother anyone but me. By the time I was done fixing it it was loud enough for all to notice.

My personal one: A hallway light fixture… every time someone tries to fix it the thing gets worse.


My bff’s: Her hubby seems to get more and more macho and more and more clueless with every passing moment. She’s tried to redirect him the first year they were together but has since given up and bc it’s her second marriage she’s in a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” kind of mood with him… even though he seems very broke to anyone watching how badly he treats her….

Nah. I've seen guys be very kind to their ladies. This guy is really odd. Doesn't even remember her bday or their anniversary or anything. Like today's Valentine's Day. You think he said anything to her? No, he got up and went to work and left the trash where it was and didn't do a damned thing to show he appreciates her working two jobs or anything...
