Yes, and when speaking to someone in a different time zone, I will being using EDT instead of EST to refer to the time zone in which I want to schedule a meeting.

March 9, 2025, 3:00 PM (EDT) or perhaps 2024-03-09T19:00:00Z if they happen to want UTC format for some reason.

Regardless, it will probably be like 3 a. m. where they are, and I'll probably miss the meeting anyway, but screw them.

In Netherlands, we go forward 1 hour at 2am 30 March. Will never get it wrong again. I once turned up early for workby 2 hours. That autumn, i went forward instead of vack.

Simply, because I don't have a ''clock'' - ... and secondly, because my hosting country is quite disinterested to participate in such things.

As per official Thai calendar ''we'' are 543 years ahead anyway. A few hours more or less don't matter, then :D

My clocks are all synchronized to an atomic clock and keep themselves set correctly. Who would buy a clock that wasn't this way?

This even includes my car stereo, which syncs itself to time broadcasts from various FM stations.

Most of our clocks will update automatically. I'll do the few others manually. The one I usually forget is the digital clock in my car. I usually get around to updating it a week later.
