It's that time once again!

It's that time once again!
Yeah but I lost an hour on my Sunday and woke up and thought I really overslept until I realized what happened, I hope they eventually just keep a straight normal time for the whole year and get rid of the daylight savings time thing like in Arizona
Of course! And reminded my three bosses.
Wife and. . ?
Excellent!

I thought they were going to end DST.
Its such a pain in the dupa
(How good is your Polish? Yeap, dupa is a Polish word)
Actually, the DST plan was to make it permanent, introduced in the Senate by one of my senators, Rick Scott.

So would this be the reason why it now appears that I'm getting MHO's/SO's etc. earlier than before?
Perhaps. Most likely explanation, but I don't know that is the explanation.
@OlderAndWiser
Grateful thanks.
Yes That would be a reason what normally would be 11pm PST is now 12am PST Cos the clocks have gone forward
In that case Our's is next week Emma, US is a week before us. Our activeity will be added up at 9am which I believe is Midnight in the US.
We do that here too, so yes. Although most devices now change on their own.
Mine, too, but I have a few applances that don't.
Same. And it’s always a pain to change them. My microwave is the worst, so I leave that one alone LOL! If you come to my house, do not look at the microwave to tell time, hah.
I remember years ago when I was a child we didn't have it in the state that I lived in at the time. I've been living in the land of stupidity trying to save time. Last year this time we were to end daylight savings time this year. The dumb schmucks that live in DC have to give us permission to set our clocks back or spring forward in the spring daylight savings Time needs to end. We're not saving anything.
The only clocks I have to set manually are on my stove and in my car.
Microwave sets itself?
I don't use a microwave. Ours has been unplugged for years.
I forgot about the clock my wife keeps on her side of the bathroom counter. It's the kind that has hands. She mentioned it to me this morning. Apparently she uses it a lot.
Also, she was happy that the cat woke her up an hour later than usual. LOL
why do old people always feel the need to remind us of these things
What kind words to read ths mornng! Every year, post a reminder and a few people respond and state that they had almost forgotten until they saw my post. So I guess old folks feel the need because our experience tells us it might be helpful to someone, and being helpful is in our nature. Perhaps, if that is not already how you are, you will learn that as you get older.
@spartan55 :) :) :)
For your mother's sake, I'm sorry to hear that she looks like a man.
When you get older and more experienced in life, it will make sense to you.
Then you should place a value on experience and people who have more experience than you. And I did not call you a fool.
Yes, older people have more experience unless they have lived in a cave or an institution their entire life. And MOST of them are wiser, as a result. And I am wise enough to stop conversing with someone who refuses to be wrong. Goodbye.
No need, they do it on their own. Except for the one in my car, but I never changed it from the last time this bullshit happened, so now its correct again.
I woke up around maybe 8 or 9 something this morning. I guess I slept in because of time change.
thanks for the remainder, I always screw it up. Also remember, we spring forward in spring and fall back in fall.
My clocks change themselves. The ones that don't , my wife changes
Nice that someone else does that for you. That is my responsibility in my home.
I did remember, but I needed the 10 O'Clock news to prompt me to actually do it lol.
Today? Good thing my phone will change it automatically. 👍
I remembered! But actually our clocks set themselves so I didn’t have to really do anything.
yes, I ran around the house and set all the clocks one hour ahead.
I actually forgot, smh. Thanks for the reminder.
Most of them do automatically, but I did those that do not. I also reminded my techs so that they do not show up late to their jobs tomorrow.
I'm not in the US but I set my clocks ahead an hour anyway.
What is my opinion? (the prompt asks). Time changes stink!
I have enough problems with semi-diurnal-inversion as it is.
Most devices do it automatically. I do have an old clock and clock radio that I set myself, and I also did the microwave clock. I still have ti change the clock in my car... when I next drive it.
Thank you it's 1:15 a. m. right now where I am and you just reminded me. I will wait until 2:00 a. m. and then I will move all my clocks ahead.
I decided to protest it so I'm setting my clocks back a couple hours.
I’m pretty sure my devices do that automatically. I’ll have to double check…
What's the point of all this? Either keep it DST or leave it off. It so confusing.
no, it automatic changes phone
My phone and laptop change, of course, but my stand-alone alarm clock, microwave, and stove clock do not change unless the human computer changes them.
One epic thing about Arizona: No DST Nonsense, same time all year
Of course! I set my clocks ahead Friday night, a total mistake !
oh that shit again...
i never do. hasn't been an issue
In the UK, we do it at the end of March
No this state doesn’t do that 😄
I did it last night, before going to bed.
All but our watches automatically change.
Our is next week
Yes I have
