To cause bleeding to a child's genitals is serious sexual abuse ! All people involved I believe should be charged with this offence, if there is no need for the operation.

A MHO is nothing, I'd like to give one to everyone answering my question, but I hope people will read the opinions posted regarding Circumcision.

Absent a real medical need? No. We can cut off much of a person's ears without causing any functional differences. This is the same. If people want to mutilate themselves, it should at least be their choice.

Now yes. If we are all stuck unable to wash even once a month it will come in really handy. But assuming you see some water at least every two weeks any advantage is completely gone.
And yes, being less sensitive during sex isn't a an end-all especially if you know nothing else.

But I'd be outraged if the Kellog's guy's brother who hated sex got to dictate that my parents should chop off parts of my manhood to make... masturbation unsatisfying - the actual reason it is practiced in USA.

Looksie. I don't judge if that is your aesthetic sense. But I've seen people cutting off their noses and leaving a gaping hole there for aesthetics. It looks metal as hell, but should absolutely not be done to a child.

Only in medically necessary cases (and those are far more rare than people think). Otherwise it should be left up to the boy when he's old enough to understand the risks and changes to sexual function and sensitivity that circumcision involves and is old enough to consent to it.

Circumcisions reduce urinary tract infections, reduce risk of getting certain STIs, reduce risk of penile cancer also is a plus for hygiene since it is easier clean down there.

What I will say is, to get circumcision as an adult is way beyond the point since it is painful and recovery is harder so you probably won’t make the decision to do it even with all these benefits later in life….

I am thankful for it, like it is gross & bad & awful though somethings are a necessary evil. I like the benefits, if I want my foreskin back I learned there are ways to bring it back so it isn’t a loss. Just my opinion though.

Thank you for your opinion ! I don't think there's any benefits of having this operation. But you've had possibly 24 years to decide, some babies are given no choice, and they will never be given the choice you have made.

I did actually get curious to bring back the foreskin though from the benefits I kinda gave up on that. People have a right to be upset over it tbh, I don’t put them down for their opinion. Your body is your body and to go against the flow, makes you feel violated which is totally understandable.

Frankly, it is sad you can’t make the choice yourself.

No not a chance. It should only happen when the person reaches the age of consent. I was in the hospital when they circumcised a child. I will never forget the screams from that poor baby.
