Probably not but are lighter , I'm also glad their are other lighter stronger material s. I'm not surprised that Ford ripped up like that. I was also shocked when I've discovered they were using plastic oil pans on the supercharged f150 I don't think that s going to be reliable.
Plastic and "hot" don't work well together.
Not at all😅
the material is just one of a few factors involved on the physics of destination fucked...
You do know there is no such thing as military grade aluminum don't you.
There isn't? I would think that the aluminum they use in aircraft would be tougher.
Ford? As in Fake Off Road Dud?
Better than Teslas, all plastic, and superglue.

Never seen one that was in a crash. But was told by a body shop. That where the aluminum touches the steel. It is gonna corrode! The two metals don’t like touching each other.
Agreed.
I know that happens with cooper/steel pipes. I didn't think aluminum would corrode.
They always were. The Audi A8/S8 has been made out of aluminium since 1994 and people have no complaints. If you or your opposing crash driver is fast enough you can even rip apart a tank.
Nothing wrong with it as long as your the only one on the road
Aluminum will fold up too easily like a fiberglass car will crumble
No steel is stronger aluminum is weaker and more pliable
Both are deathtraps.
They factually aren't
No, aluminum is not as strong as steel.
