I’m looking to purchase a shed for my backyard but I’ve heard mixed reviews on metal sheds. I’m just using it for more storage but I want to know is it worth getting or do they collapse easily?

I have a friend who has had a metal shed for over 30 years and it is still standing, although it has gotten a bit rusty because they never repainted it once. But this is in California. If you are in tornado or hail areas they may also blow away more easily and get dented. Plus you are not going to spend $3,000 on a wooden shed from someone like Tough Sheds, which are sold at Home Depot.
Thankyou that’s helpful I live in a 4 season state so I do experience it all.
Mine is probably around 10 years old and it's rusted to all Hell. The bottom has whole all over it and animals get in. For the cost maybe 10 years is good enough. Wood ones are so much more expensive and harder to build.
How did your shed get a hole? Did your shed come with flooring?
The rust on the bottom is so bad that it made holes. Where I am because of hurricanes we have to have the sheds bolted into a cement slab.
