Would you prefer to be the light bulb or the person that turns light bulb on?

Depends on the circumstances.

Only bulb if I’m happy in where I am. If I have to be a light for someone and it requires a long time of being not so much happy about myself but having to be STRONG where I am and resilient then I’d be enduring time in a place not productive for me just for their own journey. Or benefit at the least. If not one the handful.

Most likely the light operator because my initial guess was that it would be quicker than the staying stagnant option. The epiphany moment for them ideally in something I said if not a direct and outright gesture.

BUT sometimes that’s also time consuming. I don’t wish to be someone’s coach in life or mentor. That would take some time and in some cases are life long and I’m not that level of commitment/ committed anyhow.

So if a long time frame and serious effort of turning in the light/ distance to light switch etc. I’d rather very much be just a bulb in the right area for my own life.

Inspire others where I’m girly happy and shining my brightest. If the switch is not out of my way or means too. It’s a simple word of encouragement not a ted talk or requiring me read chapter 8 in a therapy text book or a book of the Bible lol for examples- then I’d be happy to be a twitch as well and not take any “fame or attention” in that sense. But also nobody stares directly into light bulbs. So they’d notice the actions and production of the person not just the person. Still even so I’d rather it be a short term than a long term with lots of requirements or something I just felt I didn’t have or had to endure just for the sake of their happiness and wellbeing.

All in all- it’s gonna be either or IF it’s not as a big expense to me. If I can I really don’t mine either option.

I love this q.

I would prefer to (insist on) being the person who designs and sets the lighting. It'll be serene, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable, and just barely functional (there are flashlights for that, lol).

As for your real q, can't choose. Both are so good, so fun. Lighting something up is empowering. Being lit up is light turning your brain into a Christmas tree.

Answer: Take turns. Spontaneously.
