Trending & News Hmm it depends. I have people who care about me. I think your statement is true in some cases like celebrities for example but in our own lives it doesn't have to be true. It can be very hard to build up these connections it takes a lot of effort but it is still possible.
My birthday was yesterday and I can notice the difference in how much people care compared to past years. I still don't have a big social network but it's a lot better than it used to be I feel more connected to the people in my life because I'm more comfortable and open to connection. I have a lot of people I can talk to when things are difficult for me. I started out online talking to people that were similar to me in some way but now I'm also a lot better at making connections irl. I worked a lot on understanding myself and how to express what I'm struggling with.
But most men are not that interested in this kind of exchange in my experience. They either think you're soft and weird and there's something wrong with you or they're uncomfortable because you've brought something up and they themselves have unresolved issues because they never dealt with it. But women are very open to it.
It is difficult and takes a lot of effort not just putting effort into relationships but also putting effort into improving your social skills and the way you think about yourself, other people and life in general. But in the end the biggest difference between a bitter life and a fulfilled life is gonna be how much other people care about you.
If you give to other people you will get it back, it really is that simple. But to be able to give you need to feel stable. If you feel neglected or you're suffering it'll be harder. You have to be able to give in a way that is not transactional or expecting anything in return. You can give affection or compassion or helping someone with something that you've struggled with yourself in the past or just being helpful. Small things add up. Have you ever worked for a charity? I felt so happy and fulfilled when I was working for a charity. It's kind of the same in the rest of life but nobody will tell you what to do you just have to figure it out.
That is true for most people in our lives. That's why it's important to invest the most of our time in the people who care about us.

People at work would move up in seniority and relatives may get an inheritance.
Unfortunately it's true, very often, people can be so senseless.
disagree, They do not care if you die either.
Fair point. That’s even more pessimistic. I was at least giving people some hope lol
