Do you ever feel old and still so much doesn’t make sense in life?

Sometimes, in the evening and after having spent the entire day at university, having studied most of my time off, on weekends and even during my breaks and holidays, I do feel old before my age.

I have the feeling that so much still has to be accomplished, that time is running out and that I will never be able to do what has to be done to finally get that degree.

I just know one person on G@G that has accomplished what I am aiming at and that person is the pride of the family (sorry, I will not give any gender here).

I know and I am fully aware what that person had to endure to finally achieve the goal that that person has set, what kind of sacrifices had to be done to achieve that life goal.

Still, there are so many things that, even at my age make no sense because either I haven't taken the time to think about those things or that are so far in time that I don't have the maturity yet to understand them.

I'm not old by years of age but sometimes feel like it. That's just due to life circumstances and having to deal with things that are most likely beyond my years and those that I'm with. Sometimes life doesn't give you the best hand and you have to grow up faster than you'd expect. Don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining about my life. I've had a very privileged one that has afforded me with a good family, education and comfortable life in relative to those that are much less fortunate. Still... we all have problems at times and difficulties. I'm not immune to that as much as the next person. It is more how you deal with those challenges. I can't say physically that j feel old but often mentally feel that I am. I'm not so sure that's a bad thing though.
