Sometimes, being a loser isn't even what you'd think. I've had opportunities galore in different aspects of life. However, fear kept me from doing what I honestly really wanted to. Now I'm here at 28 with regret and pain. Pain not only caused by myself but things out of my control. Yes, I have plenty of years ahead of me and no I don't feel like it's too late persay. It definitely is too late for some things, as ships have sailed. Why I feel or know I'm a loser is because that's all I've done my entire life, lose. My wins are small and far between, usually rooted in my youth. It seems like since 2016, all I've done is lose. Can't get a decent paying job and feel comfortable, go to school for a trade and it was a terrible idea, find someone and it was a worse idea, both my grandparents pass, and now I'm talking to a girl that only God knows what's going on with. In the end being a loser is a mindset to a degree. While yes many of the things that have happened wasn't by my choice. Other things definitely were, the biggest being my reaction and inaction in things. I don't have the confidence I once had. I've let myself go and I'm not happy about that. I can change those things. I can be more social and work on those skills. The fact I feel like I'm failing with this current girl is most likely because of me. Either me being insecure or a lack of social skills/being rusty. I will turn things around and do better. I'm just feeling it today. The depression and weight of my regrets upon my soul. No amount of meds have helped and neither does talking about it really. I just need to do and make a world for myself. In the end, yes losers come in all shapes and sizes but you don't have to sit there and lose forever. Change your perspective. Feel your emotions but also take care of them. Don't sulk in it all and wither. You'll only end up with more regret. Get out there and do.

Most troubles in life are self-inflicted. The big problem is: Many people are their own worst enemies. I don't see it much out in the real-world, but on websites like this one you can see it every day.
I think honestly, that's a big part of coming of age so to speak. Everyone I know has some sort of regrets or lessons learned from their 20s. Some learn them sooner and others later. Apart from any religious feelings I heard something the other day that sparked an older way of thinking in me. "God helps those who help themselves." My thoughts on it? We must do in order to receive the life that we want to have. Doesn't matter if you believe in God or not. If you look at the world, that mostly rings true.
