Even someone who lands in prison has potential if it's recognized and supported, just as all of the previous people can turn their lives around with care and persistence.

But, if people with life challenges don't address them and give up, and have lost the will to live well, maybe they do fit this description. But forever?

I think the human spirit wants to wrap its arms around joy and success, even if it's small successes, small joys. No one doing this is a loser.
