Do you think slang can be considered a language?

Maybe not a popular, sophisticated or even good language but do you think it can be considered a language, think of it, it's not understood by everyone, some could understand it, some words are different but have same meaning and definitions, it's like another language that's created using English, it's like Jamaicans speak patois, which is in some ways a form of English or as some may say, a "broken English" slang has to be learned and understood like a language does, kinda how Spanish and Latin are similar languages like French also have similarities with Spanish, you got American English that formed from the European English, languages always form from other languages for the most part and if people shortened and changed words to get other words with similar or same definitions, what makes a language a language 🤔
