When two people either had a falling out or whatever reason why they aren't texting or speaking - is it about power if one texts the other one first?

This is a hard experience to go through. Because now it's become like a game instead of real human interaction because you want to talk to the person.

And now it's become a game with real rules and you don't want to be the loser if you don't play your cards just right.

If you text first then the other person believes that it gives them power and the upper hand.โœ‹๐Ÿป

If you text back and do it too quickly then they have the power. So how fast is too fast and how much time should go by so you don't appear too anxious.

If you put their text message on "read" too long, they have the power.

Having the power makes you the winner ๐Ÿ† and gives you the upper hand over someone.

So now both of you are holding out on being the first one to text the other person because then it makes you look desperate. Therefore, neither of you are going to be the first one to text so you probably won't ever hear from that person again just because of the power trip.

I am not going to set myself on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ just to keep YOU warm!! Either we build the fire together or forget it.

No more playing text/phone call games!
