i bet my third nut that newsome is some sort of high-level mafia and thinks he is untouchable just because he always has been. sending armed police after families for not wearing masks, trying to send away armed police who try to stop destruction of his city? he's clearly getting off on power, but those types of people rarely can actually fight, themselves.
