Do you make sense of things when you look at them?

It just struck me that just by seeing something does not mean you can make sens of it.

Like for example when you look at the moon at night and it is half lit, you can just stop there, but if you think that the half lit half is catching the light coming from the sun all of a sudden the whole picture takes a different meaning. It starts to make more sens. It makes more sens when you know how it works.

Now when I look at a girl walking down the street for instance she might catch my eye, but I think to myself what am I suppose to think. I found myself lost beyond the image of the girl before me.
