Today was the longest day of the year and the beginning. of summer. Your feelings/reactions?

Summer is awesome but I get a little sad at the solstice because we will start going in the wrong direction. The days will get shorter and people will start talkin about pro football and the next thing you know we will be shoveling that white crap.

My feeling" the beginning of a summer is the preparation for the end of it.

As for myself... all days have 24 hours. No matter what season - so how can it be that some days are considered to be longer?

But then - close to the equator, I am a lot less effected by the doings of our sun :)

Yes that is the upside. But just like it is coldest just before dawn it will still take time to warm up whilst the sun returns. It will take till September to get a little warmer.

It did feel like a long Friday but it was a fun Friday as I got to fraternize with my coworkers that I never get to see because they work from home. It was really fun and a great start to the summer.

It's happy and sad. I love summer, although, days start getting shorter again, and we are only a few months from fall. On the bright side, NFL football is around the corner and I love fall weather!

Makes no difference to me. I worked from 11pm Thursday to 11am Friday and then slept from 1 to 10pm. Now I'm back at work at 11pm
