Today is the last day of summer. Are you sad?

The weather was not great. It rained almost every weekend and for the second year in a row I had no vacation. I could use at least another month of summer.

What's is really hard is knowing that things will get worse before they get better.

Oh yeah!! From this point on it all down hill as far as I am concerned.

Increasingly cold weather. Long nights and darker days. Yuck!!

In my dream world, the year would start on April 1 and end on August 31 - and then flip right back to April 1, rinse and repeat.

So give me me Spring and Summer and I will cling to this day to the last second. Really, as grumpy as I sound, there is nothing to look forward to till next year's Spring Equinox. Which happily comes a few days earlier next year on March 19.

Saw your update - yup, could not agree more. The first day of Fall is the longest point before we can hope for things to get better in a sustained way. Yuck!

Sweat and electric don't go well together. I don't mind sweating when I'm home doing yard work but not when I work with live electric

WOW 😳 I never knew anyone that loves to sweat. Imagine this. Imagine never being able to sweat your whole life? That's me! I never stink either 🙂. I looked it up on the internet. Come to find out that only two percentage of lucky people (like me) weren't born with a gene that causes sweat. I can't remember the name of the gene though. So, if I get hot and can't cook myself down, I have to be inside with the air conditioning on high! It's funny... I'm watching FOX right now and they are discussing people want to ban air conditioning 🙄

@sage2021 I have hyperhidrosis. I sweat like a pig. I consider it an upgrade because the heat doees not bother me. When i used to run I loved the hot days. Guys would be passing out and I would cruise on past. I do an HIIT workout at the gym. I leave a puddle on the floor when I ;leave.

Absolutely not. 🙃first time in my life, i experienced a heat wave. I thought it was hot when I was back home but when I moved out here, I didn't know what melting was until this year. I live in a state of hell but this year, it was not an exaggeration.

I'm not sad. The sooner this year is over, the better. This was a long, cold, dreary summer. Summer is my favorite season, but not this year. Yay fall!

This year! It was massive rainy summer, it was chaotic 🤣. I have not seen so much rain in Sweden since i came in 2005, even the plants and flowers are all fucked up.

The autumn is nice so far, sunny, a liiiiiiittle cold which is nice too

It was chilly this morning. I try to get to Halloween before turning on rhe heat. Last year was the first time I made it. I think I got to Nov 3rd before I turned the furnace on

no, I'm really thankful for the amazing summer we've had. So many good days of moderate temperatures, me, wife and kids and friends had amazing trip and time at home. very fortunate, very thankful.

Nope. I'm relieved. I love daytime temps in the mid-70s to low-80s. I hate it when the days are in the high 90s and, at times, up to 110.

It's ideal outside right now and we don't have to cool the house.

Things will gradually start to get chilly, especially at night. But right now, it's delicious where I live in Cali. 😃

I only have one regret which is I did not buy the summer drink specials at McDonald's this year. We were too busy with our barbecues and our parties and our social events and I never had a gap in between where it seemed like going to McDonalds for a drink was a good idea.

The heat has been stifling. Sweating every day. Forest fires like crazy. So much dead or dying vegetation. Glad it is now cooling off. Time for some normal weather. And then the beauty of snow!
