Have you ever had debt collectors come after you?

Somehow they sent me a letter saying I owe them etc from something I'm pretty sure I paid. The pain, introverted non-social me has to call them to find out what they're even on about.

Yup, my step father talked me into using my name for something when I was 18, which bit me in the ass for some time.

Also got a letter from Iceland that I owed something for my car, and if I didn't pay it immediately they'd take my car away - never owned a car, or anything for that matter, in Iceland.

No fortunately. I am in college and will have some student loans to pay off but will try to stay on top of them.

Yes, I told him to take me to court and let a judge settle it. Never heard from them again.
