I wish we had a tiny polygraph test that we could put in our pocket or purse or car, etc., and call it "The Pocket Poly".
So if you believe that someone is lying 🤥 to you, you would just pull it out and attach it to the person and while they are talking it will give you the results instantly if they are telling you the truth or lying to you.
Great for people who believe they are getting cheated on, someone new who you are dating, even test your kids and friends and family.😁

The only thing i wish for is ignorance to end. If people really valued truth and facts as much as they claim, we could eradicate ignorance in a single generation. Everyone is more committed to the lies and hypocrisies of their chosen narrative than they are to truth and facts.

I couldn’t figure out a way to frame that in terms of something existing that doesn’t already exist. Basically i just wish more people genuinely valued facts, honesty and integrity.

Things have value because they are useful in some way, and the value depends on their scarcity and the trouble it takes to make them. No matter what is here, some things will be more valuable than others. When the railroads were being built in the northwestern United States, salmon was plentiful, so plentiful that railroad workers threatened to strike if they weren't given something else to eat. Today salmon is quite expensive, mostly because we have destroyed most of the habitat.
