Which empire or country do you think has the most interesting history?

When I was in school. I liked some of it. But I would love to know how we got to where we are now. Politicians are supposed to be working for us.

And now we are letting them run our live and by doing. So America is sinking fast.

They are buying up all the farms so we buy food from them. They want our cars to be electric China ownd lots of power companies. The government want to own them so they can turn our power off when they want. They have stopped teacher from. teaching because they don't want smart people because smart people might figure why they want to own the banks that we put our money in

They are buying up all the houses. And building apartments because. They have more control over people who rent from them. How did we get here

Genghis khan. Mongols. He took over Asia and created laws and Structure that all countries are using to this day.

If it seems boring then it's been taught badly. Try reading "The Wordy Shipmates" by Sarah Vowell and see how you feel after that. The point of reading history is not memorizing dates and names. That is indeed boring. The interesting question is why? What motivated people to do the things they did? For example, why did Yankee farmers leave their farms and families to fight the British? They must have had powerful reasons to leave the comfort of home and risk their lives to fight.

Yes, I do. One of my closest friends has a degree in history, and he often shares interesting stories and facts. I've learned so much from him over the time and it made me enjoy history a lot more than I used to.

Which empire? I can't just pick one. I found it very interesting to learn about the Roman, Maratha and Mughal Empires.

Parts of it that I know are really interesting and there's always something cool and new to learn.

I find some of it interesting like before the 1700s. My favorite is reading about the Salem Witch Trials.

Depends on the topic for me. For example, American history is extremely interesting and biblical history is extremely interesting to me. But I don’t particularly care about other history.
