What writings and objects would you like to include in a time capsule to be opened exactly 100 years from now that would represent life in our times?

In this hypothetical time capsule, you can include anything you believe would help others understand how we lived during this period in history. There are no limits to the number of items or their size, as this is merely an imaginary capsule. You may also want to describe where it should be buried or stored and how long it should remain unopened before being revealed if different from 100 years. Thank you!

There was this time capsule event in hometown, in 2000. It's still operating, 75 years left though:

"At its opening, which took place on December 31, 1999, coinciding with the turn of the millennium, an artistic time capsule project called 'Grenier du Siècle' ('Attic of the Century') was launched. From October 1 to December 31, 1999, anyone who wished could deposit a personal object representative of their life. The 16,000 submitted items were cataloged, packaged, and placed in a specially designed space — a translucent double wall created by visual artist Patrick Raynaud within a wall of the LU factory attic. This tribute to future generations will be unveiled on January 1, 2100 (exactly 100 years after the end of the collection), at precisely 5 p. m."

I did not contribute because I was young, too busy enjoying the present, not really fond of the past, nor the future. Would I contribute now? Probably not, but I still like the concept.

The Mueller Report, Trump's golden $300.00 sneakers, a MAGA hat, his tax returns, school grades, a truthful history book, and the Epstein list with his name in BLOCK letters. I'd include his $65.00 Bible with added on Constitution, but that would be blasphemous. What would be nice is a paper stating that his presidency was annulled.

For fun, I'd include an iPhone, photos from happy times, some favorite sandals (Merrell brand) and a Sake bottle.

At this exact period of time,

I would put a mask and hand sanitizer to represent ‘The Pandemic’.

A mini male figurine curled up in a ball with its head down to represent the ‘Male Loneliness Epidemic’.

Various headlines of billionaire influence to showcase the ever expanding difference / accumulation of wealth that separates The Middle Class to the higher up elites.

Since we are at a crossroads at our beloved Constitutional Republic with Democratic values, I would put ‘Declaration of Independence Transcript’ and the checks & balances chart showcasing how each government branch should be handled / kept in check by the others with startling actions taking place under Donald J Trump. 100 years , maybe they overturned it or they got crushed by the billionaires.

I would put the datasets , scientific knowledge , and the awareness of climate change so that in 100 years the ‘next’ generation (at the time) will see that there was something we could do, though no one dared try to implement.

I would showcase the acceptance and knowledge of LGBTQ+ individuals , those with learning disabilities , physical disabilities , mental disabilities , and more.

I would put headlines of mass shootings and homicide also the dangers of having a gun in your own household meant to protect your family gone wrong so they can see there was something would could’ve done though chose not to.
