It will be a day when you are expecting to come back, have plans in general and you'll possibly be excited for that day as well because those plans have you excited and you can't wait to go and do those plans and unknowingly you'll die however and whenever that is doing whatever that may be

Jokes apart, yeah. I have had those thoughts few times in life and wondered what's the point of making all these plans and efforts if one day I suddenly die without even finishing these tasks. Am I wasting my time? Should I explore the world, have fun rather than all these stuff? Then I was like Naw, I'm not wasting time. I'm just investing in life, creating goals and plans whether they get fulfilled or not. I'm trying to make memories and make something of my life. You can't fight against destiny. You don't know when you'll die but you've got to die trying your best to make your life more meaningful and productive. 🤷🏻‍♀️

As you get older you've seen it happen with friends and family enough times that you are well aware of it. Even when you know it's coming it seems abrupt. After a certain age you see it coming - like this monster looming and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

But geez, you can't go thinking about that shit all the time. Just have fun. If you don't have any good stories to tell your grand children, you didn't do it right. Go out there and make some stories by living them.

Besides, you should be thinking about other people in your life who will die before you. Ever wonder if your grandpa got stoned on his ass at a rock concert? Better ask now. Ever wonder who that person in the photo album is? Better ask now.

I don't know what i was doing before I born so I don't think i should worry about where I go after I die. That idea keeps me in the moment if I died today, I don't think I'd be able to worry about what i did or didn't do after so im not going to worry about it now. I make each moment the best I can and try not to look back unless it's to use that knowledge in the moment to make a better future.

Id agree with you if when we died we would shrink back into a sperm cell and go right back up the balls but considering a empty shell that once used to live and have a personality remains on the ground makes you truly question

Some people don't though. Some people develop a life threatening illness like cancer and know when they will die. I think that's both better and worse. On the one hand, you know it's coming, but on the other you know it's coming. Death is scary regardless if you lived a good wholesome life. But I think I'd rather go out knowing. Like I die of old age or get really sick later in life and know that it's coming for me vs just dying not knowing that I'm going to be hit by a car or something.

I think about that a lot lately. the world is a dangerous place and is getting more dangerous every day. I try and stack the odds in my favor but refuse to let let it dictate my behavior. If I change my life because I am afraid, then they win.

The only things worse than dying in my opinion are reaching the end without really living or carrying the heavy burden of guilt of action or inaction within your life.

Thats not true for everyone. There are many people who fall sick which terminal and chronic illnesses and aware they are going to die soon.

A minority, that's if you live long enough to have that privilege to know, usually you get hit by a car or the rock you are standing on while hiking breaks and you fall with it etc. Lol

Cancer is common worldwide. People with cancer know it’s a possible death sentence for them. Cancer usually doesn’t kill instantly. It usually takes months and sometimes even years.

Also suicide is unfortunately common worldwide. These people are choosing to end their own life. They know they are going to die.

From what I hear most cancer patients don't even die from the cancer, they die from the chemotherapy

Yea but most people die treating it than the cancer itself, some theorize that cancer is just the body healing itself, it forms tumors to keep it all in once place and the immune system slowly destroys it but I guess not enough people risked it to go without the therapy that actually poisons their body or finishes poisoning them, many countries all of a sudden found the cure and it's not chemo, maybe it's all just a way to off people, best way would be by making them think they are fighting to feel better, it's a theory but can be a valid one based on how you think of it 🤔

What's really wild is that some people don't realize this, or ever think about it. But that's how I WANT to die. No warning, no long illness, just BANG! Catastrophic blunt force trauma to the head.

Yes, but that is preferable to being slow when you have cancer or dementia and gradually decline.
