Is it animal cruelty if I kill mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches and rats in our home?

I spray anti mosquito and have wap electric to kill them
Especially we have children at home

With the rats it could be if the killing method isn't humane. Stick to commercially available traps designed to do the job properly or learn how to dispatch by hand.

Mosquitoes and cockroaches are pests - so no, it's not.
But rats are mammals, they are quite intelligent, and some people even keep them as pets.

Our house is very close to my neighbors house. Like an apartment and the rats sometimes jump from house to house even if we clean our house.

Yuck. I would call the health enforcement department on them to do inspections. Rats bring all sorts of diseases.
