Would it annoy you if another person told you how to spend your own money you earnt by working?

This has happened to me before and it did annoy me what this person said to me. They told me I shouldn’t spend my money buying makeup because it doesn’t help me look pretty.

I don’t live off government assistance. I work full time. All the money in my bank savings account is all mine I earnt by working.

I think this person should mind their own business. What I spend my money on is not their choice.

The way you were told would bother me if I were you yes. You should buy all the make up you want if thats what makes you happy.

If that person told you you dont need to buy make up because you are just as pretty without it, save your hard earned money; it would be a different story. Even then thou you still can spend your money on anything you want!

I think you should find a person that sees your value a little better. Value and worth shouldn't be represented by money in my opinion.

Usually, girls see this behavior from the guys they like. It's really a very frustrating situation. It's also a restriction of freedom. This is your money, and you can do whatever you want.

If I worked for my money, I’m the one who decides how it gets spent.

Advice is fine when it’s invited, but someone trying to control your choices is a different thing.

Respect goes both ways especially when it comes to personal finances.
