My sweetie likes to listen to a lot of conspiracy theories and X-Files type stuff and we were listening to some odd stories about Randonautica where people used the app and followed the GPS coordinates which led them to dead bodies and stuff. There were a few other bizarre tales about it too. Some consider it creepy pasta or no more than digital folklore but to quote John Lennon, "I believe in everything until it's disproved." (Like unicorns π¦) I personally, get bad vibes from it and have no intention of going trouncing around on some misguided adventure following GPS coordinates that I can never figure out anyway and then only to find dead bodies or something else I'm sure I don't want to find. At least lead me to a pot of gold or a bottle of booze or something. And I'm especially not going out misadventuring in winter when it's cold and miserable. I'm just going to sit right here by the woodstove and whine about how cold and miserable winter is all until it's spring.
And ask questions on G@G like, Have you or would you, use Randonautica?
