Yes unfortunately. I spend a lot of time thinking about historical events and their relevance to current events. The rate of technological change relative to sociological change. Cosmology / physics. Economic systems and capitalism vs socialism. The various personality types and how / where they pop up in business, politics, and the population in general. The defining characteristics of consciousness and self awareness. The range of human intelligence that can produce a Mozart or Einstein and at the same time people who stumble through a world they never understand until death. The social interactions of people I see going on around me constantly.

I think I'm a deep thinker but it has it's drawbacks. Sometimes when you think too much and too deeply it can become negative.

My grandmother always would say even as a kid, I think too much and perhaps she's right. It's good to be a deep thinker sometimes but not always.

Yes , I tend to reflect a lot, question motives and choices, and try to see the bigger picture.  Thinking deeply helps me understand myself, others, and the world more clearly.

I'm strategic thinker. Going too deep isn't always useful, going through many possible scenarios is more useful.

I do think a lot and I come up with some profound stuff but I wouldn't say I'm an actual deep thinker like Bentham or Schopenhauer.
