Trending & News Automatic handgun are banned. Most Revolvers are semi Automatic. Do you mean magazine fed semi auto handgun?
For home defence/open carry i prefer a glock 17L or 17 for the high capacity mags (17-30), 9ml, the reliability, ergonomics, decent range and accuracy.
Conceal carry a ruger lcr revolver, 5 shots 9ml. You forget you have it on, safe and reliable. Range isn't great but good enough for what you will likely need it for. Had it in my truck for 2 years and basically forgot about, pulled it out at the range a while back shoots no problem. You actually can't go wrong with a revolver, I had an old ruger security six revolver that I used in a home invasion, six rounds 9mm. Police took it off me and lost it in evidence. I've a few older British Revolvers from ww1 & ww2 such as the Webley and Enfield both in.38. Good weapons. I've a s&w m1917 as well that served in ww1 with the Canadian army. All fire true despite their age, well made weapons. If a company decided to make new webley Revolvers in more modern cartridges like 9mm or.45acp id probably buy one or two and carry around when hunting or fishing or out in the wilderness.
One handgun I do like is the desert eagle, a buddy of mine has a couple. Good gun but the lack of reliability you wouldn't want to bet your life on it.
If you want me to be more clear by automatic handguns I meant magazine fed like the Glock you mention. I do not mean automatic like an automatic rifle you keep the trigger pressed and the rounds keep firing. So put it differently revolver or non revolver. I prefer revolvers.
They each have a place but for different reasons. The revolvers pluses are if you have a missfire all you do is pull the trigger again. On an auto that’s more difficult The springs and hammer are in a relaxed state and you can shoot really super powerful ammo an auto can’t for hunting. The autos require much more maintenance and is much harder to clean than a revolver but they’re more ergonomic and hold more ammo and carry on the body much easier. I carry a 1911.
Semi auto guns are honestly better but i still prefer my old double action revolvers.
How do you prefer the revolver than? I think they both have advantages, but I prefer revolvers. I like their simplicity, superior, reliability, and raggedness.
It’s easier to prove safe and It’s simpler to make repairs. Plus i just like The Classic look

You mean semi automatic pistol. Pistols and revolvers are different. They are both handguns though.
Handguns are not my preference.
