I need help im locked out of my house and only way inside is the dog door, do I try it?

The smallest opening a person has squeezed through and lived is 5 inches. Realisticly if it is 12 inches square, you can get in because the diagonal is as wide as your shoulders. If smaller than that, take DryGermanGuy suggestion and ask a child to do it.

Otherwise, call a locksmith. Put your cell phone up as collateral for double his price until you get paid.

Why do people get locked out of their houses anymore? Just put it on your phone and then you can open the door from anywhere.

On the other hand the local raccoon population will really appreciate a cat door, LOL. A friend ended up with a possum in his house. He called the cops, LOL. The cops came and dragged the possum outside by the tail and shot the poor thing. Why? It's a possum, not a bear. Just take it outside and let it go.

If the dog door is a medium to large pet door sure even a skinny adult can't fit through a pet door made for a small breeds of dogs. I've tried years ago.
