Recently I needed to find somebody who would plow my driveway after a big snowstorm we had. I just had surgery and could not run my snowblower. It was harder than I thought it would be. Most plow guys just want to do parking lots and other commercial properties.

I called a local landscaper who said he would do it. He never showed up so I had 2 feet of snow in my driveway and if I had some kind of emergency I was literally trapped in the house.

I called a contractor who has done work in my house and just asked if maybe he knew some local guy who would plow me out. He actually made some calls for me and within an hour somebody called me and said he would do it. He told me is would be 80 bucks. The first guy wanted a hundred.

This guy showed up in less than an hour and did a great job. He even shoveled the top of the driveway where the plow could not reach.

I stuck a hundred bucks in an envelope and gave it to him.

During valentines, there was a cute couple sitting across from me as we are seated outside eating at the restaurant, the man took off his jacket and put it on his girl. It was windy and cold. I found it so adorable, sweet, and makes me happy to see when a man is being a gentleman taking care of his girl well. I love to see love like that… and gives me hope hehe.
