I just woke up from a very vivid dream
It’s hard to retell: but basically in it I was the court wizard at a castle hosting a banquet.
But it’s all set in modern times not ancient times.
And the supplies from the banquet were lost
So I went with one of the lady guests and a man betrothed to the princess to find them and we ended up sky diving without parachutes, looking for where they landed because they were airdropped somewhere
But as a wizard I could give them and myself the ability to fly. So we did fly and find the boxes.
But when we landed the man got stabbed by pole and I had to try all kinds of magic to heal him
But failed
Eventually we get back to the castle and doctors tell us he’s in a coma with a fragmented personality
Then it gets extra weird because a man appears and asks me a question
“If I was a fly that landed and had sex with an ant, then saw a storm coming, would I try to hide in the anthill with her or would I fly away to outrun the storm?”
And right then I started having blended memories suggesting that the injured man is actually me and it’s the fragmented mind is making think we’re two people who don’t like each other much.
Then I woke up.
There you go. One fresh dream straight out of the oven :)11 Reply- 4 mo
This was actually a fantastic vivid dream!! A book could be written based on it. 🙃

u 4 moI used to write down every dream I had when I was a kid... and up till my early teen years, so yes... I think it was because of this that nowadays I can very vividly remember most of my dreams ( I wrote around 3,333 dreams in notebooks, and probably have had another 3000 more since... lol)
more than anything, I have it very easy to "replay" most of my dreams in my mind... and it's just like I'm watching a movie inside my head
in my case, the visuals are much more vividly than anything else... and when I focus enough, I can remember dozens of them in a row, as if you were fast-forwarding through a movie...
I don't write them down anymore... but I do recall them in my mind, soon after I wake up, and then... I am able to remember them for the rest of my day, of years really, lol10 Reply

4 moI usually remember them. I can still recall some I had when I was little.
The first one I had last night had me going to bed and some woman was here with me. Not gorgeous, just "ordinary", she had long wavy dark hair and it was more like she kinda got stuck having to spend the night here and she slept in the other half of my twin bed. I stayed on my side and she stayed on hers. I always listen to music when I go to bed at night and put some on. For the past several months, I've been going through my massive Tangerine Dream collection and I'm up to a 6-CD boxed set from 2000; the "i-Box".
We're in bed about a minute or so when another song starts playing and, for some reason, it happens to be a rather new song by The Fixx! Why The Fixx would be in the middle of a TD boxed set, I have no idea!
I'm not used to anything they've done after their 5th album, "Walkabout" and this song came out a few years after that so, I have NO IDEA what it is. It sounded to me like it might be a tad loud (for some reason, music gets louder when the lights go out and I'm trying to get to sleep) and I also realize that maybe she can't get to sleep with music playing so, I ask her if it's too loud for her. She says, yes so, I physically, in real life, roll over and turn the volume down on my computer! I went back to sleep thinking, "I hope she's not gonna stay awake thinking I might end up making any moves on her because that's NOT gonna happen!!" I just don't do that sort of thing. We're not in a relationship (but I am with someone else in real life) and I respect her space in the bed so, I'm NOT gonna try anything!! Besides, having her friendship and trust is more important to me than going for a cheap feel or sex and getting her pissed at me for it!! I prefer she trust me! That's just the way I am. "She's PERFECTLY safe." and I covered up and started a whole new dream. But, I never went to bed the night before so, I was REALLY tired and don't recall anything I dreamed after that. It MIGHT pop up in my memory banks at some point during the day., though.10 Reply - 386 opinions shared on Other topic.
4 moYes and no. I used to have very vivid dreams pretty much all my life and keep a dream journal but since late last fall it's like they just stopped and I'm not sure why and it actually kind of bothers me.
And I'm into astrology and energies and all that so I have a few theories but most people just laugh at me for it all so I won't bother going into it.

You can go into it privately with me if you like. I won't laugh at you for it. I have incredibly vivid dreams and I remember every single detail of them. I notice that when I look at a screen before falling asleep they're not as vivid and it bugs me when I don't remember them.

Thank you so, so much. And yes, too much time on the internet definitely affects my sleep too.

You're welcome.
4 moI used to have a lot of dream but not anymore. Sometimes I remember them, most of the times I don’t. I used also to pay attention to them when I was younger but not anymore
what about you😊

I do. I have quite vivid dreams and I always remember them apart from short periods every now and again where I don't remember them.
- 4 mo
That’s cool😊
I think it’s also depends on the person’s daily life and activities or the events
I can have weird dreams when I'm restless or worried about something in real life. Most of the time, I remember flashes, but not the whole dream. The dreams don't have anything to do with the cause of my worries.
When I'm relaxed emotionally, I don't remember any dreams, not the good ones, nor the bad ones. They're probably there, I just don't recall.
10 ReplySometimes.
If the dream is intense or emotional, I’ll remember pieces of it when I wake up especially the feeling. But most of the time, it fades within minutes once the day starts.
It’s funny how clear it feels in the moment then it just slips away.10 Reply2K opinions shared on Other topic. When I was a kid I used to have crazy dreams and even crazier nightmares all the time. When I was 16 that started smoking weed and forgot most of my dreams I was able to get a good night's sleep, so I never stopped smoking weed. Whenever I run out of weed and stop smoking for a week or two, all the crazy dreams come back.

4 moI am a lucid dreamer, but i don’t remember all of my dreams. If i don’t write them down or otherwise work through them shortly after waking, they drift from my mind and i find it very difficult to recall them later.

4 moMy dreams gave me an idea of a game to play with my niece. It’s called “Nobody’s There” and you simply point to a place where Nobody is and describe what Nobody is doing for an imaginative and creative game of pretend.
10 ReplySometimes I remember them vividly, I’ve actually had nightmares where I’ve actually woken up sort of screaming in a fashion. Those were after a tragic real life event though. So that’s why they stuck in my mind

4 moIf I dream I don't remember them. But I do have night terrors. I have destroyed a bed with 4" thick maple posts. I sleep alone.

4 moOnly if they’re vivid or hold some sort of message. Numbers are important so if they show up I want to know the meaning behind them
10 ReplyYes, and I search the meaning of it. Dreams are connected to you processing the day and your emotions. It says a lot about what you're thinking about recently
