I would chose number one anytime over the other 2. I can live with betrayal without too much problem. Betrayal seems to be something very common nowadays. Cheating is betrayal, a lie is betrayal and yet, those happen day in and day out and those that are confronted with them usually get over them relatively quickly.

In today's world, cheating seems to be the thing to go by if you are not willing to do what the other wants and lying is something that everyone does, even subconsciously. How many times have you (yes you) or me told a white lie just because you (or I) did not want to hurt someone's feelings and yet, this lie is a form of betrayal.

I'd stay with #1 . I will just try to convince myself that I'm over the betrayal and lie to survive.

My family is my life so I could never chose #2 and #3.

I don't have any siblings, but even if I did, I wouldn't care if it happened to them rather than my parents, because I definitely would love my parents more than my siblings.
