No thanks. Trying to be friends with aliens would be as foolish jas trying to play with the unidentified animal species. That thing could exhale a neurotoxin I could kill you instantly.

Think how much you’d regret trying to hang out with an alien now that you’re suffering with these weird little alien parasites traveling under your skin while you sweat and itch and fall in and out of consciousness. You’re not sure Whether or not you’re hallucinating, or your limb really Are starting to swell But you do know you’re bleeding out of your eyes, cause you can see the blood in the sink..

If you got to be edgy then go rescue a capybara.

Okay if one stereotypical alien appeared in my backyard and nowhere else….

One) We wouldn’t speak the same language and would need a way to communicate

Two) Can’t report this to the police or government because they’d laugh and go, “yeah right probably some Halloween costume or you took too much drugs”

Three) What if it tried to murder me?

Like I would film it, take a photo, maybe have someone spot me while I try to interact with it however wouldn’t try to be friends lol.

Not likely. One would assume given the nature of survival is likely just as violent as man. And if they have mastered interstellar travel than they are far more advanced than us. It would only be prudent to be VERY guarded.
