What is the age people normally get baby fever?

If they are going to get baby fever that is, I know not everyone does and not everyone will but is it a age thing or mental health maybe, who knows

I started having baby fever when my cousin was born on November of 2023, he was so tiny and soft and was like a cute pink blob of flesh. Then because my aunt, his mom, was pursuing PhD she was very busy. I had the opportunity to babysit him everyday till mid 2025. I did everything, gave him a bath, feed him, change his diaper, make him sleep, try to make him do my homework. The baby fever was so so bad that I told my mom straight in her face "Either you have another child with dad or I'll do the deed" lol.

I guess people who like children start having baby fever when they get to take care of babies and like babies even more.

I guess, I can't really say since I've never taken care of a kid but it seems like hard work if I were to guess, something I dont think I'm ready for lol

Yeah but if you do like kids and if you were given responsibility of babysitting one for few hours, and you end up doing a good job and that baby smiles at you whenever he/she sees you, then you immediately melt and feel a strong instinct to protect and raise a child with all the love in world.

I'm not sure, but I would think it varies depending on how good your impulse control is. I love babies, like a lot. I'm pregnant now, actually lol. But I don't feel like I've ever had baby fever before getting pregnant, and I don't think it really counts while you are pregnant. I do think that a lot of ladies start wanting kids by their mid 20s, though.

Most people I know don't really think about it until 30 or so. It's useful to establish a career, have a stable life partner and a decent level of financial security. That said, I have known people in their early 20s that have had babies, and in their late 50s, and both have been ecstatically happy.

Yea it's a big responsibility and requires a lot of preparation

I never had this kind of fever, mostly flus and colds.

But I've learned, during my mid 30s, to stress about this fever that could strike a girl I'm with. So I'm telling you I'm quite happy to be in the mid 40s, much less risk for me to encounter that pesky fever lol

I actually was very young when I had baby fever. I can't remember when I didn't have it. I dreamed of becoming a mother since my childhood and always wanted 4 children. Two of each.

I got married at age 20 and had my son when I was 23. But he took off before we could let my dream happen.😔

Oh that's messed up, well you had a son, it's a blessing for whatever reason only God knows, 4 children wasn't a part of God's plan. 🙂

I never did have that type of fever, quite the contrary actually, but I did find that I ended with one of them and he has since grown into a 28-year-old man.

It's funny how that came about.
