Possible to have baby fever?

Lately I have no idea why but I want a child so badly even though I'm still a virgin.
Today at work there were twins that were matching which made my heart melt 😍😍 Is it possible to have baby fever even though I'm a virgin?

Absolutely. It is a natural instinct rooted in evolution. It has almost nothing to do with you being a virgin. In fact, quite the opposite. The fact that you are means that a natural instinct has not yet been satisfied and that tends to intensify it - especially when you are ovulating.

This sounds, in this enlightened age, positively retrograde, and in the sense that - unlike in animals - your mind controls your instincts, you are by no means a slave to it. If you were to have sex with a man and you knew, as a practical matter that you were in no place economically or otherwise to care for a baby, you would not want one and would take precautions.

However, you cannot help what you feel, you can only help what you do about it. Your female primate and later prehistoric ancestors instinctively wanted to have babies. They looked for the male who had the healthiest sperm - as indicated by various physical characteristics - and who could ward off rival males and predators and find food for mom and her baby.

The result is a conflation in the female mind - again at an instinctual level - of breeding and child bearing. In effect, you are feeling a natural sexual instinct that has, in the bargain, helped to keep the species alive and kicking for several hundred thousand years. The aim is to become pregnant and raise and protect a baby.

Nothing dishonorable or surprising about it. Different women feel that instinct in varying degrees of intensity depending on factors as varied as your body chemistry, upbringing, education and socialization. It even changes over time. Odds are that, as I mentioned, when you are ovulating your desire to have sex and become pregnant goes up.

Plus, finally, it is human nature, generally, to think that babies are cute. Evolution has made it so that a baby's physical characteristics create in both men and women an instinctive reaction to want to care for and protect them. Your reaction was also, in that sense, very normal and instinctive.

As you are NOT a slave to your instincts and emotions, however, you control it. You want to have a baby but the desire is not - generally, though there can always be "accidents" - in control.

"Baby Fever" has kept humans on the planet. That you are feeling it - especially in your sexual and child bearing prime - is as predictable as night follows day.

We're genetically programmed to want to have babies. Some people feel it more than others.
Don't go rushing in though. It's a big commitment and will change your life. You have plenty of time for that later down the line
