I tend to get really calm and focused when other people lose it. What about you?
Once I saved a classmate from falling from the cliff, because I was a fast runner and very alert, when I saw her tripping, I was already running towards her, run 100 meters so soon that I was there on time before she fell and caught her with my hand and dragged her to me.
I act, I am the type of person you’d like to have by your side if you ever fall into an emergency.
Sadly I can’t run anymore, not yet at least, but when I’ll totally recover from my leg injury, I’ll still be that person.
I’ve also saved children multiple times when their parents were standing there shocked and in terror.

I haven't really had any real emergencies in my life so far. But I'd imagine I would freeze up a bit perhaps.
Well, maybe I'd surprise myself and be calm when it matters.
My mom once had a terrible kidney stone attack at this resort after a massage, she was vomiting, shaking and sweating, and I called for the ambulance, and handled things to make sure she got help.
I'm a trained 1st Aider, I've learned to put my emotions into a mental box, where they remain while dealing with casualties/an emergency, when everything is done and dusted that is when the shakes start, It usually takes me 1/2 an hour to get over the adrenaline rush and emotions that have built up.
Funny enough I overreact during stupid incidents. For ex stubbing toe and everyone around me is getting cursed out. I'll be pissed all day about that haha.
If something serious happens, for some odd reason I'm calm and able to do what's needed.

In emergencies I usually calmly and collectively handle high stress situations with professional ease.
After the crisis ends, I do my best to escape to somewhere safe and have a complete mental breakdown.
My training kicks in and I go total robot. 🤖
But once my suppress and respond is over, my PTSD kicks in… 😑It's weird. I don't usually do well under pressure. But if you're talking about life endangering emergency, which has happened a couple times in my life, I get extremely calm and it's as if everything just instantly organized itself in my brain and I do what I have to do to get through the ordeal/situation.
I just get calm and leap into action. I hate people who yell and freak out lol as if that helps anything
Fairly cool. I hate how people gawk. If there is nothing for you to do you should move on.
My fight/flight reaction is heavily weighted to fight. Depending on the emergency I tend to be the one who is able to take charge. I don't always. Medical stuff I defer to someone who has more knowledge than me.
I usually grab @sirderpsalot123 and make him solve it.
I have been in enough of them to just let my experiences tell me what to do.
I take a deep breath and work the immediate problem... fall back on training if appropriate. There will be time for decompressing stress reduction after the immediate threats are delft with.
I become very alert and assess situations almost instantaneously to take the wisest action.
I am the same way. I deal with emergencies much better than regular life.
I go with the extremes. I am either calm and collected or I lose it entirely. There is no middle.
I work in emergency services so it’s situation normal for me.
I am the same way as you. I don't panic, I'm calm and focused. I don't need to get everyone else in a panic
