If you call 911 for a medical emergency, do you expect help to arrive promptly?

Many of the EMS systems in this nation are underdeveloped and crippling both financially and with staffing.

Since its inception in 1969, modern EMS has been on the backburner for most politicians. Many areas don't even have an EMS first-response system in place, where trained persons treat patients until an ambulance arrives on scene.

Instead, we focus on stupid crap, like tranny rights, but this issue often gets ignored.

EMS and fire are often treated as the "red-headed step children" of the public safety world. They are often second-class to law enforcement.
