If you're truly honest with yourself, would you have hanged with yourself in school?
I feel like I like myself now but I didn't always like myself. I've grown into liking myself.

Trending & News I actually chose to hang out with myself at school because I was the only person I trusted and I only felt safe with myself. It's the only way I was able to cope. And if you ask me if I would or could be friends with myself now as an adult? Most definitely because I am a much stronger person than I ever was, that said I have also reached a point where the level of self love is such that I have acquire a bigger freedom and the chains on me are very loose which means I can spend time with myself as well as spending time with others because I like who I am and I'm not afraid to show it. This does not mean my issues still don't affect me to an extent because they're always present but not enough to hold me back or create a Chinese wall between myself and others or myself and I. We are our own obstacle at times and the secret is in understanding this limiting belief.
Thank you!
I do, it's taken me a long time but now I can actually say I love myself and truly mean it.
Girl you're pin balling down the rabbit hole again. Stop over thinking everything.
As for me, I used to hang out with basically clones of me when I was in college and the military. There were lots of near death experiences. One broken neck (not mine). One compound fracture of a femur (not mine). Getting thrown off a ski mountain. Climbing mountains at night to ski down in the dark. And constant adrenaline rushes. We had a blast. It was NOT a good idea to put us in the same place at the same time.
So would I hang out with myself? Yeah I probably would. May not be the brightest idea though.
do I like myself, yes of course...
but... would I be friends with myself? probably not, lmfao
I've always ended being great friends with people who are different than me... and "not like me" because that's just so much more intriguing, and interesting and fascinating for me... it was the same with my ex-girlfriends
I'm not into myself like that... and if a friend or a girlfriend was just like me... then that's not going to be exciting...
Understandable. Same here.
it's very funny... but also great
how my best friend, since high-school... we're similar in some key things, but we're also very different on so many other things, especially on the things we were into
he's a die hard fan of Superhero stuff, comics... videogames, anime... trucks, he's not into sports at all... he doesn't even like music that much!!
I'm the opposite of all that, lmao
but, every single day... we would much rather to hang out with one another... and not with our other friends who were into the same things we were interested on, individually
I had a good friend like that.
he's like my brother from another mother...
Aww that's sweet

That's a great question. I tend to criticize myself a lot, in other words, always think how much better I can be at something. I don't beat myself over the head about it, but I wish I clld change a few things. For example, when I was very young, I was painfully shy. Now I am much much better, but I need to be more assertive with some people. I need to take a better foot forward, learn more about saying No, and speak up when I should. I like myself but there are a lot of things I can improve on. People normally (usually the quieter types) like to talk to me at social events. I don't give unfriendly vibes, but I am still somewhat a little shy.
I am who I am. I treat people with courtesy and respect. I trust easily and expect that trust to be returned. I take responsibility for my choices and apologise when I err. I have sufficiently diverse cultural, political and religious perspectives that I will probably butt heads with anyone zealous about anything; people with well balanced views find me refreshingly open to their perspectives. I take time to warm up to people and my humour doesn't always come through immediately.
There are enough people that like me. There are enough that don't.
🤷♀️
Sometimes I have moments of fears, doubts and insecurities, like everyone, but then I remember I'm a narcissist and fuckin' awesome! 😊
I do have many issues with myself. However, I'm trying to change. As obvious as this sounds, I realized that I must love myself. I'm the only person who will be always with me. I need to be my best friend.
That being said, despite my struggles, yes I would be friends with myself in high school.
When all is said and done you really have to be your best friend and there is no way to get away from yourself. If you are not comfortable in your own skin, you seriously need to work on that. No amount of Sex or drugs or trips to the Maharishi are going to resolve that issue. That being so. It becomes the most important issue. A major factor in not feeling lonely
@Simslover92 my experiences tell me this is a Universal 'self-concept', in that, we don't always feel good about ourselves, for one reason or another. Not being a psychologist or psychiatrist, i just picked this up from talking to others like yourself or read it somewhere.
Yes, I do. I have had great experiences that sometimes make me wonder how I did it all as I can be just as happy sitting at home. It is a stunning and varied list and I was a good friend when needed. I did it all while holding onto my core beliefs and learning that my core beliefs are inseparable from me. And I like me.
Would I have hung around with myself in High School? That’s a great question. The answer is probably. Two like me though could have been real trouble.
Probably not there's got to be more to why people hate besides being gay. Yet thats always the issue, my sexuality. I have never had friends so I dont think Id be able to befriend myself and I suppose as lonely and difficult life can be I've done it this long alone.
I love myself; that's not narcissism. I recognize my faults and boons. Self-love is probably why I didn't become an incel. I knew that a large part of my inability to get a girlfriend was that I was very shy and antisocial. This wasn't the fault of girls; this was on me. Sure, a girl had to like me, but if I rarely made an effort, I was part of the reason I was single.
Nobody ales will love me so I must love myself.

Two girls who look like AI generated in real would arouse interest among boys at parties. Psychologically I'm have moments of smartness but few moments of craziness can appear sometimes, however I'm not a pleaser like lot of girls because finding affirmation by others has low priority.
Clone of me would be interesting for parties, that's for sure.
Absolutely. I'd love to be in a relationship with female me. And at work there was a guy who was a bit like me and we got along amazing. Only colleague who can reach me outside of work.
I think I have a good personality. I treat other people the way I wish to be treated. If people are nice to me I will be nice to them in return. Physically I don’t think I’m that pretty. Probably like a 6/10 at most.
Yes! I truly do like myself and I have learned to love myself as well.
If you don't love yourself how are you going to love someone else?
Yes, but I would also have known all my soft spots and shortcomings.
Indeed, it's a process that takes time.
yes, but I love everyone else more than I love myself.
I have my shortcomings, but yes, I can say that I like myself these days.
Cheers!
Yes I do. Always room for improvement but over all I think I have much to offer.
More now than I used to but still extra critical of myself at times.
Yes and no… I would steal my own girlfriend from myself everyday
Deep down, yes. However, on the surface, not so sure?
Yes, I like who I am. I would have hanged out with me during high school.
