Interesting question but very dangerous.
Both involve tampering with time. While it may profit you personally, it may impact other either positively or most often negatively.
On the positive side, imagine an airplane crash with 200+ casualties. Being able to rewind time by 5 minutes may prevent this accident from happening but it would also tamper with the future since those people in the airplane accident would not be impact the future anymore.
Personally and not taking into account the impact on others, I would much rather pause time for one hour as it is less likely to impact others since their lives are also paused.
That's very true and thoughtful indeed.
You're welcome!
Omg, I don't want either. What if I paused time for an hour and it got stuck? And what would I do for that hour when everything was paused? That seems like it would be boring like being stuck in a picture or something.
And I'm way too ocd for the rewind button. I'd be rewinding my whole life and what if that got stuck and I just kept rewinding the same 5 mins? And then what if they got cross connected and both happened, like I pause the rewound 5 mins for an hour? Omg, this is all so confusing.
I would without question take the 5 minute rewind. I'd be g. o. a. t. ed at work and in relationships. The man with the right words for every situation.
First thing I'd do is negotiate a raise. OVER AND OVER again until I found out how to get it. lol
Not to mention that if I can constantly be correcting my mini-screw-ups... over time I'd learn both what worked and didn't work, ultimately making me even more effective at any given pursuit first try.
5. minutes is not that much, not relevant for me... but pausing time for an hour... that sounds interesting. Everything stops but me, one hour is enough ;)
Thanks for the MHO
You're welcome!

You can do a lot with being able to rewind time by 5 minutes. It helps free you from the consequences of your actions to an extent. It’s not a lot of time so it does have its limitations, but it would be a cool ability to have. Probably the more practical of the two. The freezing time for an hour is what I picked. If I’m still able to interact with things during that time period it gives you so much freedom
I’d probably choose rewinding time for 5 minutes.
Not because I want a perfect life, but because sometimes a few minutes are enough to change the way you respond, the words you say, or a decision made out of emotion.
I think small moments can affect people more deeply than we realize.
No I mean I would love it but at the same time I wouldn't because my mistakes is what teaches me even though I should already know it I would think but I don't and it teaches me to be a better person and do better things make better decisions become a better lover have a bigger heart just everything
I prefer pausing time for 1 hour because I think I could have very fun. I would strarted that at the airport (Because all the top brands have shops at the airport in Turkey.) And I would wear best dresses from top brand stores. And I would do my makeup with the best makeup products in unopened boxes from top brand store. I wold wear very good parfume that the most expensive one... Yeah
Well I don’t make mistakes but if I do, I will admit it. And I don’t wanna pause time i’d rather go back in time and change things and save lives To prevent accidents. But I don’t know how to fight Against ALS coming , but I can say get a mammogram. Don’t skip it your appointment. And I can warn that you’re gonna have an airplane accident the next day and save your life not to get in that plan
Pausing for an hour would be great sometimes, unless it means that the world moves on without me.
Rewinding 5 minutes to remedy a mistake would be better still. I've made some and still regret those to this day.
Could I use the 5 minute rewind power to correct mistakes I didn't know were mistakes at the time, but happened years in the past?
I think it's only within the 5 mins before it happened. Not years in the past. I'm sorry.
Yeah sorry.
Rewinding changes the timeline, which can be dangerous. We learn from mistakes and move on.
It might be interesting to just pause time for a while, takes rest
I would choose to rewind time by 5 minutes. It's error correction, which is arguably what humans need most.
Pause 1 hour everyday because I never look back only forwards.
Neither. There is no rewind, no takebacks. Also no Zack Morris time outs. Life is continuous and that's the way it is for everyone. The true ability is to embrace that and make every second count.
if I can rewind time... then I could just eat Cheetos forever... right?
I'd go for the rewind but I would be using it a lot!
It's an opportunity to rectify past mistakes. So hindsight is 20-20!
pause time. like I could go to a bank and pause time and steal the money.
I would prefer to have that one hour a day just to take a break.
Would absolutely love to pause time. Feel like I could be more productive with that power lol
