I was once, as a child, sibling zoned. Meaning that for 2 full years, my elder brother did not talk to me because I took the defense of my younger sister and during a meal, when he was bothering her like he always did, I leaned over the table and gave him a whack that took everyone by surprise. How dare I hit him in front of everyone.

Since then, he did not speak one single word with me for 2 years. Not a "happy birthday", not a "Merry Christmas", nothing.

I paid dearly for having given him a piece of my mind. Today, all is good again because we are grown ups.
