What does it truly mean to hate? What makes someone objectively hateful?

hate is primarily, fear... forever ago, when there was a threat to your safety, you would of course, fear that, and it because it was a danger and caused you harm... anger and fear started to mix up
that's probably why we killed the Neanderthal... since they were so close and similar to us, we feared them, we eliminated them... and we probably hated the idea of big bears and big tigers as well
nowadays, hate is a per (version) of that... it's fear fueled by perceived danger or actual danger, something is a threat, a danger, hurts us... so of course, we learn to fear, and eventually to hate that something, or someone
I view it as a thirst for destruction that we all got to experience, in the course of our own psychological development.
I assume we grow out of it because someone taught us, as kids, to control or appease this thirst. When we don't grow out of it, when hatred keeps flowing wildly, I assume it's because the ones who were supposed to care for us kids have done the opposite.
I assume that instead of love, we received hate, instead of care we received bruises, I assume we have been beaten, manipulated and violated instead of the mental and physical shelter we should have had, as kids.
To me, hate is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It’s an intense, consuming emotion that usually stems from deep pain or fear. I think someone becomes 'objectively hateful' when they lose the ability to see the humanity in others and start finding joy in their suffering. It’s a very heavy burden to carry.
Those who kill children, women, elderly…
they are weak, evil and heartless… they were raise to hate others and picked on those who are defenseless.
@HighValue very true. So sad

Hate is when i saw school teachers: treat different kids differently when both cried or tattled or said mean things. The teacher showed which kids she hated. And for that i hated those bad teachers. Or in physical education , he calls the basketball fowl on just one kid who pushed, but not the other kid who pushed.
Encountering an opposition football fan! 😬
Kind of an obsession to some degree. Like Joy Reid when she talks about white people. That dopy seething look she gets or like she's on the verge of tears. Watch people like that sometime it's funny af.
To not just want to kill that person but rather to want to wipe out their entire bloodline.
To inflict pain and suffering on that person devoid of an ounce of remorse.
When you wouldn't be satisfied just by killing that person. You'd want to strangle them with your bare hands watching the life drain out of them, then reviving them fully. Just so you could do it all again.
Hating someone or something takes a lot of energy and poisons your own soul. People who truly hate are poisoned people who live in a misery of their own making.
I've never hated anyone but I am damn close to hating the woman who stole almost all of my belongings twice!!
God won't let me hate her but says I should pray 🙏🏼 for her.
Hate is to me the greatest evil. I mean real hate. For me to hate someone I have to see them as less than human. I can count on one hand the number of people in this world I hate.
It's the opposite of love. And the higher your capicity for one, the higher your capacity for the other
To hate is to use your own soul as fuel to burn away another, to seek its destruction ar any cost. I can go on but that's the most pg answer I have
There is some saying bout if you hate somebody you should dig two holes. I really do not remember the rest of this.
When you're fueled by rage, almost consumed by the feeling. Nothing can be done outside of a life ruining event for both you and the other. For now..
You dislike something or someone so badly you cannot stand them and be in their presence.
Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
Hate is a strong term describing ones zero tolerance for something
Pure love. One cannot love themselves unless they hate what is not themselves.
When someone does evil things for no valid reason... a really evil person.
To be a liberal.
I honestly don't know. I don't hate.
Then let's look back at when you did hate
