Cat peeing on carpet after UTI treatment: medical issue or behavior?

She is 4 years old. A few times now she's urinated in the house. Once at my house. I know that because one of the rooms stunk. And at my moms house in several places. I caught her once urinating in the corner. We took her to get looked at and they thought it was a uti so we put her on meds. Im not sure if it helped or if she decided to just stop but she seemed to stop for a while. So I moved back into my house with her. I was sitting in the roomed that smells (my computer room) and I heard like water runing onto the carpet. I turn around and shed pissing on the floor. I heard a minute before what hear like her trying to get out of the room because the door was closed. I assumed she was just trying to get in because she does that a lot. Im thinking she was trying to get out to use the litter box but im not sure if thats the case, or if she intentionally peed in my computer room.
