"Why we are here"? That is to say, "Why God made us". I mean a simple websearch will tell you, "God made us to share in his glory" But we are evil. I mean, it may not appear that way to you and i at first glance. You might even watch a news story about a good samaritan and conclude that we as a species are growing and getting better. But most of our advances and innovation comes for R&D for WAR. Ecclisiastes will tell you "what has been before will be again". Because humankind never really changes at our core. Were capable of such greats things and such beauty. But we choose to hurt, steal, and kill. This site is a prime example. It could be tool help and heal. But people use it as a to hurt and divide because mankind is fearful, evil, and selfish.

Why did God create us if we're Never worthy of redemption? Why would such a perfect deity create such flawed undeserving being. At my age i don't understand the struggle. And i feel like i should.

I think right now I'm trying to force myself to reimagine what I want because nothings been feeling right lately and my solution has been to just completely change up how I'm living, what I'm doing for work, who I hang out around. I'm living a very normal, quiet life right now and it's honestly not so bad. I'm just still not feeling excited like I used to all the time. But maybe that's just part of being 30 lol I feel like it's obnoxious to think you've seen it all but there's only a handful of things left for me to do.

I can answer that one. It's because we are living longer. When retirement pensions were first invented only a minority of people lived long enough to collect them. Most people worked until they died.

Nice guys don't actually finish last. Nice guys according to that saying or phrase is more so talking about men and even women pretending to be something they aren't in order to get their needs met. It's actually fine to do that but the issue comes in when you take it too far. Girls all the time get work done to get more attention. One should change the things that generally are flaws but keep their uniqueness. Losing weight to find women or men is fine. Pretending to like the golden girls just because someone else does is not fine. It's okay to aspire but don't lie about where you are.
