Terro ant bait users: how long before activity clearly dropped?

Hello all,
I have a question about TERRO ant bait and would like to hear people’s experiences.
I know results can vary depending on the situation, but I’m trying to get an idea of typical timeframes and outcomes.
My situation: I put TERRO bait down on 27th May. At first, ants were strongly attracted to it (around 50–60 ants). The next day activity dropped significantly, and now I’m only seeing occasional single ants indoors.
I’ve seen a few ants still interacting with the bait, but activity is very inconsistent — sometimes none, sometimes a couple.
My question: For those who have used TERRO:
How long did it take before you saw a clear reduction or full stop in activity?
What did the process look like for you day-to-day?

I’m getting sugar ants on my little table top right where i eat my food on and it’s driving me crazy because I’m afraid to put my food on top of the table so I bought some so now I’m gonna activate it very soon and see how it works

yes the ants avoid the new material stuff. i saw a change in one day as they saw affects.
