I need to pee,
Bird or bee?
Please tell me.
Where to flee,
And let it free.
In the picture which toilet door would you take?

Well my logic would be, bees pollinate flowers and therefore fertilize the flower. Which is exactly the male role in reproduction. So that is the male toilet.
It is a little out of date but women are sometimes called birds or chicks so that is the female toilet. I think they should have written flowers instead. to carry over the bee theme.
Sure, but female bees collect pollen and therefore do the “fertilization” of flowers. 😂😂😂
@Chazmatazz269 Oh sure, but the bird and the bees is just a symbolical representation of sex with out the nasty gory details of copulation to disturb children's minds.
At my primary school there was a bull paddock alongside it. I will never forget the girl's reaction when a bull mounted a cow right by the school fence. They were quite shocked at seeing bull's cock shoot out.
Another time a cow was birthing right by the road fence on the way home.
The other boys and I were 'well that was fun to see' but bored after 30 seconds. I will never forget the intensity with which the girl's stared however. I think the boys were all disturbed by the girl's reaction. I imagine they were all thinking that will be us soon.
That was probably why the sanitized version of the birds and the bees was created.

An amusing but still good question when I imagine being in that situation. As someone else said here, I think to have a quick look behind the right door just in case the right-left macho logic still works (right supposed male, and left supposed female), and further if wrong, no harm done actually.
OK for the bird being the polite version of "chick", but the bee? The butinating bees are actually all female, but sure, it's still them to visit the flowers, the latter by the way being very often as well male as female... A locale custom I guess :0P
Mind that a lady may also have been mistakenly in the gents facilities: no harm done neither I'd say ;0)
“Bird” wasn’t so much “polite” as it was used to describe women. Meanwhile “chick” similarly described young women.
@Chazmatazz269 My mistake then. Mind that in my country when one qualifies a woman as "kieken" (chick or chicken in Flemish) it is rather despising. Another amusing difference is the word "vogel" (bird) which refers to a man's genitals ;0)
Bees have stingers, so i expect they're the male of the species, making birds the female. And in Britain, women have been referred to as birds for a long time...
Everyone knows women are birds. And bees have long protruding bits to jab you with lol

I'd take a chance, and go with bees, for two reasons:
• Bees are the pollinators, so in essence, they are responsible for spreading genetic material from one plant to another. That seems like a safe allegory for a male.
• Unless I'm mistaken, "birds" is a UK slang term for "women" which would suggest that would be the female restroom.
“Shouldn’t birds be male because they have a pecker”, that is insanely good reasoning but unfortunately I chose Bee before I could.
Reason? Men have a “stinger” and I guess women have the “boobies” lmao.
Also it would really depend on the exact photo. Like if it’s an owl, we know its for women definitely because of their “hooters”.
I'd go in the Bees door, but only because Birds is a slang term for girls that I think originated in the UK.
Wait for a woman to go to the toilet/exit the toilet - whichever one she goes to/exits, I'd pick the other one. If it takes too long, I'd find an establishment with a human-readable toilet designation...
Not a good idea, too further confuse drunken people... 🫣
Ok, I am confused. Everyone is saying women are birds so use that one. I have the opposite thought in that a penis can be called a bird in slang. Pick a door and immediately look for a urinal. Good luck.
I'd say the birds is the women's bathroom. That being said, if there was a long line for the women's and I couldn't hold it then I'd go into the mens
“Birds” is an old colloquialism for women. So i would go into the bees room, prepared to retreat in case i got it wrong.
That's weird. I'm not sure. But women used to be referred to as birds, so I guess I would go with the bee because I have a big stinger. 😆
Men suck at giving proper directions, so I guess birds?
Maybe it wasn't the case in Wales, but in the early 20th century "bird" was vernacular for a young lady.
Ladies are "birds" historically and bees have stingers, so I'd opt for bees personally.
Birds to the left poppy They are more valuable, especially the American bald eagle
Thanks
In my experience, the men's room is usually on the right.
Not sure if correct, but I was suspecting something similar ;0)
In my experience, the men’s room is always farthest from the entryway.
I just select bee because of the description you have about birds.
I bet a guy goes in the bee hive
We all know which one is which
I don't use public bathrooms
I wouldn’t do it 😄..
