Do you have real, long conversations with your cat too?

If you don't do this you should. You would be surprised that the wisdom and encouragement your cat can impart to you and if he takes the trouble to talk to you, you should take advantage of that. I have a conversation with my cat Allister several times each day and quite honestly it is the best conversation I have with anybody throughout the entire day.

Your cats are actually very intellectual and you have to have a very stimulating conversation with them to keep them interested and awake

This morning, after asking politely for his breakfast, Allister mentioned to me that he was planning to spend the day playing guitar. This is a little bit disturbing because I also play a little bit of guitar, so when he plays, he likes me to not play at all since I interrupt him. Nonetheless, as I write this, he is playing guitar about five feet away from me, and I am having trouble concentrating on what I am writing.
