City people do you enjoy your city life and what terrible city do you live in?

I live near a city where there's shootings almost everyday now. I rather be in the country where there's a dollar general only. Lol I live in indy.

I'm currently in the San Diego area... pretty much a place called Lemon Grove. Fuck this place, it's ghetto. Filled to the brim with the EBT community and people that are just transitioning from jail/prison in order to go back to jail/prison.

Yeah I mean I have black friends and all kinds of friends from other places, but this place has made me racist. If I don't know you... I'll assume you're one of those walking NPC's, so stay the fuck away from me. Fucking obvious drug use all over the God Damn place. If I went outside more, I probably would be contemplating the sewer slide. Military housing so I'm not so close to it, but still... just a 10 minute walk and I'm in the middle of a total shit show. Dudes wondering around like zombies with shit going down their pants... not joking, they shit themselves and just live in it.

I'm trying not to go back to my old ways and start packing heat and shooting random strangers, but this place is making that hard. I get my VA money and hide in my house... lift weights and play video games. I wished COVID was actually way more deadly that it was made out to be. This place has made me aware that humans need a culling.

I like having stuff to do nearby, especially since we live in walking distance of some good places. But I also do like visiting my wife's family in a small town where the nearest Walmart is half an hour away, people trust and rely on each other.

I've lived in the country for a short while and I was very uncomfortable living where there's nothing but trees.

In case of an emergency I need to have a hospital 🏥 nearby and not some hole in the wall hospital with 2 people running it.

I guess you really can't have both at the same time. Maybe some places but not many.

I'm in the Midwest and highly populated area, but it is only highly populated during the summer season. When it is off season, it is just locals and much more quiet. I like it.

I live in a wonderful town in northeast Florida. The county has a population of about 240,000, a low crime rate, good schools, and it's a great place to live.

I lived in multiple cities for far too long. I moved to a small town about 5 years ago and dammit the population has exploded in the past year and a half! No gunshots yet thank fuck but still much louder than the quiet I previously thrived in.

I grew up in Philadelphia. Loved the city life. But it was dangerous. I moved to Houston 10 years ago. This city sucks!!! The people are all lame bitches. Id give up safety for real friends if I didn't have children
